- American Airpower Heritage Museum - accredited Confederate Air Force World War II aviation museum covering U.S. aviation history from 1939-1945.

- Aviation Heritage Museum - will be built on land donated by H. Ross Perot, Jr. at Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas.

- Bay Area Airline Historical Society
- Bristol Aero Collection - museum of aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft, built in Bristol.
- British Columbia Aviation Museum (BCAM) - collects, restores, and preserves aircraft and artifacts related to the history of aviation in Canada, with emphasis on BC.
- Brooklands Museum - home of the first purpose built motor racing circuit in the world and of British aviation. Offers location filming and corporate hospitality.
- Canada Aviation Museum - offers archived photographs and descriptions of a range of aircraft.
- Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre - dedicated to the history of bush flying and forest protection in Canada. features floatplanes, seaplanes, waterbombers, and forest fire fighting artifacts.
- Canadian Museum of Flight - features photos and specs of the aircraft collection, aviation history, art gallery, events, and more.
- Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Official Web Site - features specs, photos, and history of the aircraft collection, articles, flightlines, restoration projects, and more. At the Hamilton International Airport.
- Castle Air Museum - features rare warbirds from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and Cold War eras.
- Cavanaugh Flight Museum - offers a collection of aircraft, artwork, and artifacts, spanning the time period between World War I and the Vietnam War.
- City of Norwich Aviation Museum
- Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum - dedicated to the preservation of the history of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan and to those airmen who trained and served their country in WWII.
- Comox Air Force Museum - covers Canadian military aviation in its evolution from the Royal Flying Corps to Air Command of the Canadian Forces.

- Evergreen Aviation Educational Center - aviation museum in McMinnville Oregon, current home of the HK-1 "Spruce Goose," Howard Hughes mammoth seaplane.
- F.E. Warren AFB Intercontinental Ballistic Missile and Heritage Museum - information on living history, Fort D.A. Russell Days, Cheyenne, WY, and F.E. Warren Air Force Base activities.
- Fighter World - experience fighter aircraft up-close. Located at Williamtown RAAF base, just outside of Nelson Bay.
- Fleet Air Arm Museum - charting the history of the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm, with exhibits including carriers, both World Wars, and the technological development of aviation.
- Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum - collects and preserves artifacts and documentation related to U.S. Marine Corps aviation history.
- Globe/Temco Swift Museum Foundation - The International Swift Association was formed in 1968 to promote the preservation, appreciation, enjoyment and safe operation of one of general aviation's finest aircrafts.
- Greenwood Military Aviation Museum - houses exhibits that encompass the early formation of the Greenwood base in 1942 and proceeding through the Lancaster, Neptune, Argus, and Aurora eras.

- Lone Star Flight Museum
- MAPS Air Museum - the Military Aviation Preservation Society is dedicated to the restoration, preservation, and display of warbird aircraft.

- Mighty Eighth Air Force Heritage Museum - the Eighth Air Force was formed in Savannah, Georgia, in January, 1942, and became one of the world’'s great air armadas.
